The School of Social Work, Student Technology Loan Machine (SSW STLM) is a program funded by the Student Technology Fee (STF) and the School itself, offering free access to technology for students at UW Seattle. This initiative is designed to support students’ academic technology requirements by removing obstacles to accessing technology. SSW STLM provides equal access to modern technology tools to enrich the student experience by allowing for the creation and development of ideas and projects in their best possible form. In this way, SSW STLM facilitates learning both inside and outside of the classroom.
The SSW STLM support staff are available during academic quarters. SSW STLM is closed on UW holidays. All equipment is accessible 24/7 via student Husky Card from our student computer lab, located at 4101 15th Avenue NE Seattle, WA 98105-6250 in room 018. This room is accessible with student Husky Cards.

Equipment items are available for Loan periods and do not include weekends or UW holidays. For specific questions regarding loan periods or due dates, please email sswtech@uw.edu
The SSW STLM vending machine is located at 4101 15th Avenue NE Seattle, WA 98105-6250 room 018. All equipment should be picked up and returned to this location and into the STLM. For directions and hours of operation, please visit the UW map page.
At this time, the SSW STLM program is not providing shipping as an option.
